If you’re not seeing any Accounts associated with your users in Accoil, it’s likely because we’re not receiving Group
calls from Segment. Group calls are what send account-level data and traits into Accoil — without them, we can’t associate users with their respective accounts.
To resolve this, here are a few checks your team can perform in Segment:
Confirm
Group
events are being sent from your Segment Source
Head to your Source in Segment (e.g., your web or backend source).
Click into the Schema tab.
Then click the Group section (as shown in the screenshot below).
You should see whether any
group
events are being registered.
2. Verify Group
mappings are enabled for the Accoil Destination
Go to the Accoil Analytics Destination in Segment.
Select the Mappings tab.
Make sure that
Group Calls
are listed and the toggle is set to Enabled. Also confirm that
Track
,Page
,Identify
, andScreen
events are mapped if you're using those too.
3. Check Delivery Status for Group Calls
Still within the Accoil Destination, go to the Delivery Overview tab.
Change the filter to Group Calls from the dropdown menu.
Look at the Successful delivery box — this will tell you how many group calls have actually been delivered to Accoil.
If Segment is showing that group calls have been sent or delivered elsewhere, then it’s possible something is being blocked or misconfigured within the Segment Destination settings for Accoil.
