Step 1: Send us your product data π
To start using Accoil, youβll need to send your product data to us. There are three easy ways to do this (soon to be four with RudderStack!).

π If you already have product analytics:
Segment - Add Accoil as a destination (takes about 3 minutes)
Direct API β Send events directly the Accoil API
RudderStack (Coming soon!) β Stay tuned!
π If you donβt have analytics set up:
A developer can use Accoilβs tracker library to start collecting user activity.
For each of these options you (or your developer) are going to need your API key. You will be given this on signing up.

Step 2: Wait for your data to flow into Accoil Analytics π
As with any solution based on your product's data, you won't be able to use Accoil Analytics until your data starts flowing in. This usually takes 8 - 24 hours, so we recommend setting up Segment and coming back to Accoil the following day for the next step.

Step 3: Create your engagement score profile π’
Once your data starts flowing into Accoil, you can start configuring your product's engagement score. This provides a foundation for accurately measuring your account/ user engagement, allowing for tailored engagement strategies.

Simply give your important product events a weight based on their importance and click, "Save Profile" on your dashboard.

Step 4: Good to Go - start gathering insights now. π
Setting up Accoil Analytics is that simple. Keep in mind that the scoring profile is not set in stone and we definitely recommend playing with your scoring model to make sure it makes sense for you.
