Deleting users from your Accoil account
Deleting users from your Accoil account is essential for GDPR compliance and data security. You can delete users directly through the Accoil UI in just a few steps.
Steps to delete a user:
Go to the User Detail Page of the user you want to remove.
Click the Options button on the right-hand side.
Select Delete this user from Accoil.
Once deleted:
The user's data stops being tracked immediately based on their tracking ID.
A full deletion is scheduled within 24 hours to prevent data overlap.
Using Segment deletion requests
Accoil also processes deletion requests from Segment, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.
When a Segment deletion request is received, Accoil schedules the removal.
The request is fully processed within 30 days as per GDPR guidelines.
